Welcome to my blog following my journey as I attempt to perform in two shows at Edinburgh Fringe 2009.
This year, as well as producing and performing in Without the Aid of a Safety Net's black satire on TV talent shows MORE FAMOUS THAN GOD by Mark Skinner, I will also be starring as the Wicked Witch of the West in Eventertainia's all-singing, all dancing contemporary adaptation of The Wizard of Oz by Mark Wheeler.
MORE FAMOUS THAN GOD plays at two Laughing Horse Free Festival venues in the afternoon and The Wizard of Oz plays at Montgomery Street Park Gardens in the evenings. Eventertainia have created a new venue for Edinburgh 2009 which includes a lorry which turns into a stage - a performing arts Transformer! - and a gigantic, inflatable auditorium. For more on this brand new venue see:

I initially turned down the chance to be involved in The Wizard of Oz as, of course, I was already doing a show in Edinburgh. However, when one of the actors dropped out and Eventertainia offered me the chance to become involved again, what else could I do? After all, the shows are on at different times so I'm sure it won't be too much of a challenge hot footing it from one performance to the other, hopefully managing to fit in a bit a flyering for both shows along the way!
In addition I have now set myself the task of updating this blog with my progress everyday too, so enjoy reading about my adventures whilst I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with myself!
